4. Lawful Basis for Using Your Information

Under UK data protection law, we use different lawful bases depending on the circumstances.

These may include:

  • Consent – where you choose to provide information for a particular purpose, such as completing an assessment or subscribing to future marketing communications.

5. Love Language Assessment

If you complete our Love Language Assessment, we collect your name, email address and your responses to the assessment questions.

Your responses are processed to calculate your results and create a personalised report. The report is automatically generated and emailed to you.

Your assessment information is stored using our business Google account and related Google services.

Assessment information is normally retained for up to 6 months, after which it will be deleted unless there is a legitimate reason to retain it for longer.

The automated scoring used for the assessment does not make decisions about your eligibility for services or otherwise have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

6. Coaching and Online Sessions

If you use our coaching services, we may keep information that you voluntarily share during coaching, together with relevant notes, action points or resources needed to support your coaching.

Coaching notes are normally retained for up to 12 months after your coaching relationship ends, unless there is a legitimate reason to retain them for longer.

Online coaching may be provided through Google Meet.

Where Google's “Take notes for me” feature is used, you will be informed that AI-assisted meeting notes are being created. You may ask for this feature not to be used. The resulting notes are stored in the meeting organiser's Google Drive.

We do not routinely record coaching sessions.

8. International Processing

Some of the service providers we use may process or store information outside the UK.

Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards will be used in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
